There are 3 deployment options:
- CRM Online - customers access CRM as subscription service, hosted by Microsoft in their datacentres
- Hosted Microsoft CRM - customers access the system as a subscription service, hosted on 3rd party servers
- On-premise Microsoft CRM - CRM is installed in-house on the customer's own servers
